Halo Top Is Now Making Milkshakes and You Can Only Get Them at Subway

When Halo Top first launched back in 2012, the high-protein, low-cal ice cream was only offered in pint form. Since then, the company has expanded its reach to include pops, soft serve, and starting this month, milkshakes. Sure, you could buy a pint and make a milkshake yourself at home, but now, Halo Top devotees will be able to swing by Subway any time a craving strikes.

Yep, Subway. While it may seem like a surprising pairing, it does make sense—both are, for the most part, health-forward brands, and until now, Subway’s dessert options were limited to cookies (their chocolate chip cookies CRUSH IT, in case you have somehow never tried one).

So this summer, the two brands teamed up to test out creamy Halo Top milkshakes at nearly 1,000 Subway locations in Colorado Springs, CO; Hartford, CT; Longview and Tyler, TX; Salt Lake City, UT; Toledo, OH; and West Palm Beach, FL. Guests can choose from three classics: vanilla bean, chocolate, and strawberry.

The shakes are being tested from July 22 through September 4. Also in testing this summer: subs made on King’s Hawaiian bread. Time to reignite my love of Subway’s 6-inch tuna sub!!!
