Spread – Mediterranean

Ingredients for approximately 330 g

For the spread

  • 100 g sunflower seeds – 2 hours to soak in water, then using a sieve drain
  • 60 g of dried, pickled tomatoes
  • 50 g black olives, pitted
  • 1 small clove of garlic

Liquid ingredients and spices

  • 10 TBSP olive oil, cold pressed
  • 1 TSP tomato paste
  • Crystal salt
  • Pepper from the mill
  • 1 TSP dried thyme (or fresh)

Preparation

Preparation time about 10 minutes

All of the ingredients except the thyme in a blender and puree to a solid mass. Then the thyme, stir, and season with salt and pepper.

The spread with whole-grain bread to enjoy.
