Kris Allen Posts Sweet Mother's Day Tribute to Pregnant Wife: 'Can't Wait to Have Another' Baby
Kris Allen can’t wait to become a dad again.
The singer-songwriter and his wife Katy are expecting their third child together, and for Mother’s Day, Allen shared a photograph of Katy sporting a baby bump alongside the couple’s two children: daughter Rose “Rosie” Elizabeth, 3 next month, and 5½-year-old son Oliver Neil.
“Happy Mother’s Day to my baby mama. I could not have asked for a better mom to my kids,” Allen captioned the image. “She is selfless, hardworking, always thinking about the next things for them, a teacher, a role model, a badass, and more than anything completely in love with them.”
“Can’t wait to have another with you sweetheart,” added the proud husband and dad, 33. “Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. #happymothersday“
Katy shared the same snapshot, writing, “One of my greatest joys in life is being Oliver and Rosie’s mom! They keep our lives busy and crazy, and it’s about to get crazier with our third on the way, but I wouldn’t change a thing.”

Katy addressed her pregnancy on Instagram in March, revealing at the time that she was 20 weeks along and sharing an ultrasound photo of her third little one on the way with the American Idol alum.
“We got to see this precious babe today. So grateful for a healthy report!” Katy wrote.
The mom-to-be concluded the post with the hashtags “#20weeks” and “#halfwaythere.”
Allen previously told PEOPLE he wanted a big family but that he and Katy — high-school sweethearts, who married in 2008 — would take their time in expanding it.
“I think it’s definitely not out of the question right now that we would have another kid, but I don’t think anytime soon,” he told PEOPLE in a 2016 interview. “We really like to space that [out]. I think we’ll definitely wait a little bit.”
“I don’t know how my parents did it,” the soon-to-be father of three added. “I was 13 months old when my brother was born, and that seems awful!”
