Hay fever sufferers swear-by £1 wipes that ‘trap and remove pollen’
The UK has been struck with a pollen bomb.
This has wreaked havoc on hay fever sufferers, who have fallen victim to eye irritation, sneezing, runny nose, headaches and tiredness.
The allergic reaction can be difficult to deal with – and many Brits are currently scrambling for treatment.
Thankfully, one mum thinks she’s found the answer to the problem.
Apparently, a £1 packed of wipes could help hay fever sufferers to alleviate their symptoms.
The Nuage Hay Fever Relief Wipes are said to “remove and trap pollen”.
And according to dozens of shoppers, they really do work.
A mum shared a picture of the wipes in the Extreme Coupling and Bargains UK group on Facebook.
Her post read: “£1 in Poundstretcher.
“Definitely worth it for the money and they work instantly for me.”
Over the last few days, the post has racked up 3,400 likes and thousands of comments.
Following the mum’s tip-off, many agreed the wipes had worked for them.
One Facebook user said: “Also in Savers – and instantly worked for me on the way around town…
“It took away the itchiness on my eyes and faces, stopped the stinging – and I actually wiped my whole face and it cooled and soothed it.”
Another gushed: “99p in Savers – really work! I love them.”
A third added: “These are good, they work instantly.”

Antihistamine medication is the best known type of allergy medication.
These are available from pharmacy without prescription.
It’s also a good idea to shower and wash your hair after being outside on days where pollen count is high.
Put new clothing on, and avoid drying clothes outside.
Rain washes pollen from the air, so on cooler, wet days the pollen count will be lower.
The NHS also recommends putting Vaseline around your nostrils to trap pollen, and to wear sunglasses to stop it coming into your eyes.
Keep windows and doors shut and vacuum your home regularly.
