Angelina Jolie Is Barely Recognizable With Her New Curly Blonde Hair

Unlike, say, a Kylie Jenner or a Paris Jackson, Angelina Jolie long ago found her signature look and, for the most part, stuck to it. Part of Jolie's reputation as a classic beauty comes from her ever-present (and gorgeous) glam: Long, wavy brown hair, a red lip, and minimal makeup. But the actress has also never shied away from transforming for a role, and her latest is no exception. In a new Instagram post shared by actor David Oyelowo, Jolie appears as a blonde — likely a look for their upcoming film, Come Away.

It seems for the movie, Jolie traded in her dark vixen vibe for a sunny pile of straw-colored hair styled into cute curly tendrils. As is often the case with a hair change, it's really shifted her entire look. In the pic, Jolie's also got blonde eyebrows and the pale pink lipstick with a golden glow to match. Of course, it's likely that the blonde style is a temporary wig for the role. But maybe Jolie will love herself as a blonde so much that she'll make the change for real? At this point, anything is possible.

Come Away is reportedly a prequel to both Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan in which Alice and Peter are brother and sister. Deadline describes it as the story of their childhood: "When their eldest brother dies in a tragic accident, [Alice and Peter] each seek to save their parents from their downward spirals of despair until finally they are forced to choose between home and imagination. This sets the stage for their iconic journeys into Wonderland and Neverland." Jolie and Oyelowo play Alice and Peter's parents.

As Oyelowo's post alluded, shooting has finished for Come Away, so it won't be long until we get to see blonde Angie in action.
