Brandless is easily one of the most unusual companies to be founded in the last few years. Can you think of any other brands from which you can buy body wash along with tuna, a pack of gel pens, and a serrated bread knife all under the same label? And even more extraordinary is the fact that each item is only $3, a price practically unheard of for beauty and self-care products, let alone ones made thoughtfully. So it's pretty great news that today, Brandless is adding new face-care products, body-care products, and grooming tools to their ridiculously affordable beauty range.
Personally, I'm most excited about the new facial skin-care products: Green Apple Facial Toner, Grapefruit Face Scrub made with enzymatic fruit extracts like that of pineapple and papaya, an unscented shea butter Night Cream, and a two-pack of Coconut Lip Balm SPF 15. That's not to say I'm not enthused about the two new additions to their body-care collection: Coconut Water Body Butter and Mint Foot Cream made with coconut and jojoba oils.
Perhaps the most remarkable new products to be available for just $3 each, however, are the stainless and carbon steel grooming tools. How many times have you lost your tweezers and headed to the drugstore hoping for an affordable replacement only to find that a decent pair can run nearly $20? Brandless's Precision Slant Tweezers are truly legit — actually sharp, and even coming in a protective pouch. The two-piece Nail Clipper Set, Eyelash Curler, and Cuticle Nipper are super-sturdy, and if the Metal Nail File isn't really your thing, there's also a four-pack of Emery Board Nail Files.
The best part is if you do misplace any of these tools, it's not a tragic loss — just $3 down the drain, and $3 to get a new one. But you might as well throw in porcelain salad plates, tree-free toilet paper, quinoa chips, and a corkscrew while you're on brandless.com, just because you can.
