A 'Beauty and the Beast' Bar Is Coming to Disney and You Don't Even Need a Park Ticket to Visit

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is getting two important additions this year: one of which will appeal to the kids and the other which is solely for adults. In February, Disney Parks Blog announced a new Bibbidi Bobbidy Boutique location will open at the venue’s spa this summer, but now they’re sharing details on a Beauty and the Beast-themed bar and lounge coming to the resort this fall.

The new bar is taking over Mizner’s Lounge and Commander Porter’s and will have four distinct spaces inspired by the movie. The main attraction, which you can see in the photo above, is the massive chandelier hovering over the main bar. Per the Disney Parks Blog, the centerpiece is a nod to both Belle’s famous yellow ball gown and the Beast’s enchanted rose.

There is a “formal library” space decorated to look like the one in the Beast’s castle. Keep an eye out when you visit: It will feature nods to the Beast’s friends, so you may very well see Mrs. Potts and Cogsworth in there. The garden room serves as the enchanted forest replica while the outdoor patio is meant to recreate the Beast’s garden terrace. Basically, if you want to live out all your Beauty and the Beast dreams, this is the place to go. Ball gown not necessary, but it’s also not not suggested.

The best part about the new space is you don’t need a ticket to a specific park to visit. Since it’s located at a Disney property, you can head over and grab a drink after a long day at any of the parks. Locals can visit without a ticket too. For those who are staying at the Grand Floridian, you’ll be in a prime location. The hotel is just a stop away from Magic Kingdom on the resort monorail.
