Where there are questionable weight-loss products, you know The Good Place star Jameela Jamil isn’t far away. This time, Amber Rose is the target of her digital outrage, but there’s a twist.
Amber recently shared a sponsored Instagram post for the new Organic Pregnancy Tea from Flat Tummy Co. “Food baby or real baby @flattummyco knows bloat’s a total B*TCH!” she captioned the photo with her growing belly showing.
“They’ve just launched an Organic Pregnancy Tea to help us moms with those bloated, nauseous, blah feeling days!” she added. “It’s safe to take while pregnant and breastfeeding.”

Yep, the 35-year-old model is pregnant with her second child and simultaneously promoting weight-loss products specifically for pregnant women.
The comments on Amber’s post lit up instantly, with many fans tagging Jameela. Jameela snapped back with an Instagram post of her own. “Flat tummy products for… pregnant women? Is this FDA approved? Are we f**king kidding?”
She added “NO AMBER ROSE, NO,” to the caption to really send her point home.

Jameela’s fans agreed. One wrote: “What?!?! Why would you even want that? I loooved my big round tummy when I was pregnant. ❤️🤰🏼”
Another added: “This is terrible. Of all the times to legit celebrate not being the ‘perfect’ flat tummy.”
Both Kim and Khloé Kardashian know what it feels like to be caught in Jameela’s crusade against weight-loss products. Kim was targeted for promoting Flat Tummy Appetite Suppressant Lollipops, and sister Khloé got the boot for meal-replacement shakes.
For some background: Detox teas claim to flush toxins out of your body and generally contain ingredients with known diuretic or laxative properties. FWIW, detox teas can lead to some weight loss because you’re going to the bathroom a lot, Alyssa Ardolino, R.D., at the International Food Information Council, has told us in the past—but they won’t actually burn fat.
And when taken long-term, frequently, or in high doses, the active ingredients in some weight-loss teas may cause laxative dependence or liver damage, per the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
Thanks, Jameela, for putting on your cape and making Instagram a safer place.
