Ryan Reynolds Shared A Whole Gallery Of Unflattering Pics Of Blake Lively For Her Birthday

Ryan Reynolds continued his tradition of roasting wife Blake Lively with a hilarious Instagram post to commemorate her 32nd birthday over the weekend.

In the photos, Blake looks, er, less than her best (though, tbh, she’s still pretty damn still gorgeous). The series of 10 photos show Blake at the beach, at city hall, travelling, and even showing off her baby bump (she’s currently pregnant with their third child together).

Some celebs chimed in to wish the actress a happy birthday, too. Stranger Things Millie Bobby Brown wrote, “Haha! Happy birthday she’s still always so beautiful ❤️”

Plus-size model Tess Holliday said, “I really think you captured her essence in these shots.”

And Cara Delevigne, never one to mince words, said, “f*cking love you both x.”

Even though the post is obviously a joke, it’s still special because Ryan rarely posts about Blake on his Instagram account, using it instead to promote his new film projects and his company Aviation Gin.

ICYMI, Ryan did something similar two years ago, with a photo where Blake was mostly cropped out, captioned “Happy Birthday to my amazing wife.”

Blake and Ryan met on the set of Green Lantern in 2010, when he was married to Scarlett Johansson and she was dating her Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley.

“We were buddies then. I remember it was funny because for about a year after Green Lantern had come and gone and all that stuff we were both single,” Ryan said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly‘s SiriusXM show.

They once even went on a double date (when they were dating other people), but realised they were the ones that should have been together. “That was the most awkward date for their respective probably because we were just like fireworks coming across. It was weird at first but we were buddies for a long time. I think it’s the best way to have a relationship is to start as friends.”
